• The Vision Awards recognize the individuals and studios redefining how architecture is imagined, represented and communicated. By spotlighting radical concepts and compelling visual storytelling — from renderings and drawings, to photos and videos — the program celebrates creators who push architectural thinking forward.
  
  
  Whether capturing the essence of existing buildings and landscapes, or showcasing visions of what architecture could be, visionaries can be found in every sector — and all deserve a global stage.

Your Work on the Global Stage

• The Vision Awards are hosted by Architizer.com, the largest online community of architects in the world, with an audience 7+ million strong. Entries are judged by distinguished industry luminaries in a variety of disciplines, as well as by Architizer’s editorial team.. Finalists and winners are recognized as the year’s most influential visionaries in their respective fields and receive year-round recognition for their work.

Multiple Ways to Win

• For each Vision Awards category, two accolades are up for grabs: The Editors’ Choice Award, selected by Architizer’s Editorial Team; and the Jurors’ Choice Award, selected by an expert jury of industry experts and thought leaders from the shortlisted nominees in each category. Finalists will be comprised of the five top-scoring entries in each category.
  
  
  Entrants can also opt in to the “Best of the Year” Awards for additional opportunities for recognition.

The Best of the Year Awards

• The Best of the Year Awards are a special accolade that recognizes the most visionary and timely projects submitted this season. These projects are hand selected by Architizer’s Editors, and spotlight the best in architectural concepts, visualization and representation--demonstrating extraordinary creative vision, technical mastery, and architectural insight. Winning entries are setting a benchmark for excellence and receive additional promotional opportunities, including priority for editorial coverage, exhibitions, and speaking engagements and a dedicated editorial feature on Architizer.com.

The Inaugural Vision Awards Event

• The Vision Awards inaugural in-person celebration will take place in Paris, France in October. As part of Architizer’s partnership with RELEASE [AEC] – an industry-wide gathering focusing on emerging tech in AEC – Vision Awards winners will be announced live, in-person and showcased throughout the day-long program. Finalists and Winners will have the opportunity to attend the day-long program comprising keynotes, panel discussions, demonstrations, and a networking reception. Select Finalists and Winners will be invited to speak as part of the event.

Vision Awards x Metropolis Magazine

• In partnership with Metropolis magazine, select Vision Awards winners will have the opportunity to be published in Metropolis’ Spring 2027 print issue dedicated to innovation in AEC. Distributed across North America, Metropolis is an industry-leading print publication focusing on the insights, resources, and projects that are shaping the future of design. The issue will also be included as part of broader Metropolis programming at the AIA national convention in Philadelphia in May 2027.
